I called around & found they cook in fat yum. The fish had a herb batter the chips were cooked perfectly managed to get some organic lemons. Can't fault Koutu Fish Shop. 10 outa 10.

Really love the food. The fried rice is not too oily. They're just right. The chop suey is really flavorful. I really recommend their food.

Excellent fish and chip shop! My mother who lives close by gets battered fish once a week and I was lucky enough to be visiting one of those nights. They put herbs in the batter which is an ace touch.
